About Alum Chine Tropical Garden
Alum Chine and Argyll Gardens is a Green Flag site at Bournemouth's largest chine, with shaded paths, sea views and a pirate-themed play area for children. Argyll Gardens on the clifftop holds the tropical garden, which was begun in the 1920s, and this part of the site also has bowls, catering and toilets. It can be reached on foot along the seafront or by the land train from Bournemouth pier.
