About Bournemouth Beach
The main Bournemouth beach runs either side of the pier at Pier Approach, between the East and West cliffs, with cliff-top walks above it and views along the bay to the Isle of Wight. It sits on the edge of the town's historic gardens and is lined with restaurants, cafes and kiosks, and the council runs the free LV= KidZone wristband scheme along it in summer.
