About Luscombe Valley Nature Reserve
Luscombe Valley is a Site of Special Scientific Interest with more than 1.5 hectares of woodland and a mix of habitats: open areas of gorse, grassland, reeds, streams and seasonal ponds on the edge of Poole Harbour. It is a few minutes' walk from Evening Hill viewpoint and borders Parkstone Golf Course, with a gate at Shore Road and further access from Brudenell Avenue. Parking on the surrounding roads is limited.
