Peter Treble Butchers has traded at 56 Poole Road in the centre of Westbourne since the Treble family opened it in 1976; Robert and Sadie Watts have owned it since 1998. The shop sells a seasonal range of meat, sourced locally where possible, with the odd exotic line for barbecues, and also supplies local restaurants and care homes. Orders can be placed online or by phone, with home deliveries from Tuesday to Saturday. It was named Dorset Butcher of the Year 2016 by the Dorset Food Awards.
