About Sandbanks Beach
Sandbanks has won the Blue Flag award more times than any other resort in the country, and the beach along Banks Road is soft golden sand with views across the harbour mouth. Facilities run the length of it: a cafe, kiosks, showers, drinking water, a dog wash, mini golf, a children's play area, seasonal volleyball nets and RNLI lifeguards, with the Sandbanks surface car park behind.
