About Stour Valley Nature Reserve
The Stour Valley reserve is a three mile stretch of riverside footpath, meadows, hedgerows and woodland following the river through north Bournemouth. Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre, opened in 2016 and run in partnership with The Parks Foundation, is the gateway to the reserve and holds a classroom and an interpretation area. The Wildlife Garden outside the centre includes a wildlife pond.
