About Kinson Common
Kinson Common is a nature reserve set among the housing of Kinson, with a surprising number of habitats for its size: woodland, heathland, marsh and meadows, and a correspondingly wide range of plants and animals. The heathland is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation. Grazing animals are used to manage the site, and occasional guided walks run through the year.
